AIB & Maximum Media partner to create new business podcast ‘The Capital B’

‘The Capital B’, is a new weekly business-focused podcast. It is one of many new formats Maximum Media will launch this year, following the business’ continued growth into areas including video, audio, live production and events.

Available on iTunes and SoundCloud, The Capital B is presented by renowned business journalist, Nick Webb, who will be joined by an industry panel to discuss the latest breaking stories, trends and business opportunities across the country. Founder of Maximum Media, Niall McGarry is set to be a regular panelist, along with food entrepreneur and former BBC ‘The Apprentice’ runner-up Róisín Hogan.

Other guests lined up to appear include Irish rugby star Rob Kearney, who will talk about his recruitment venture, Mason Alexander. Ray Nolan who famously sold Hostelworld for €100 million, Oscar-nominated producer Ed Guiney, and former UFC star to name a few.

The partnership, which was negotiated by Starcom on behalf of AIB will be looking to capture a business audience, of all ages. In addition to branded stings around the podcast, in show mentions and social media amplification, AIB will also be integrated into The Capital B’s content via a branded segment called The Business Brainstorm – backed by AIB.

The fist episode of The Capital B premieres on Monday the 27th of February at 7.30am and will be shared across all of JOE’s social channels, with a reach of over 1.2 million.
